So less than a month from the International Coffee Day event it was time to head off to a Barista Masterclass at Costa Coffee in Balzan. With my camera of course, and J. You could say that J did all the work this time together with another ten or so coffee enthusiasts. I went along and took loads of pictures which is what I love best. I promised solemnly though that next time I’ll leave my camera behind and follow some instructions myself.
I am blessed to have great friends. They are good people who fill my life with joy and serenity, and having no brothers nor sisters, they’re my support system and my tribe. You can count my friends with one hand but they’re all I need. They are honest, trustworthy, loyal, dependable and non-judgemental. And total foodies. I almost ‘heard’ you trying to guess and you were completely right. So M suggested a great place we could try for a lovely meal and a long catch-up chat. It was so good, we went there twice in matter of a few weeks.
I hope everyone’s having a good Monday. I have a funny relationship with Mondays – I love to hate them. I know that without them there would be no weekends. I’m trying to think of something to like about them but nothing comes to mind really. All that I can say is that I do like certain Mondays, like today. I crossed out most of the stuff from my to-do list this afternoon and I saw my mum this morning too. So a good day on the whole.
There’s not a lot I can say here, except that I bought this beautiful veg and fruit box a few weeks back. I was so happy with it that I snapped a few pictures as soon as it was delivered to me, at around 9.30pm on a weekday night. You wouldn’t think so though because J immediately held up the flash and reflector for me when he saw me reach out for my camera. It turned out pretty well.
When I started writing this post, I had something totally different planned, but I decided to be spontaneous and changed my mind. Right now. I don’t even know if I’ll manage to post this today. Today as in Wednesday. Sometimes I feel so rushed during the day, that this blog is the first to take the hit. Unfortunately so I always say, as C&T is where, to a certain degree, I feel myself the most. I feel glad about this, because I never wanted to lose myself in here. Let me rephrase that: I never want to present anything that is not me. The food in the photos is never wasted, always eaten by us and/or friends and family. I share, because I love to, I want to, and of course, because I cannot justify eating a whole cake by myself. Well…
So let’s take a little break from cake and let me give you this.
