Blogger Recognition Award

Bookshelves (0379)

I’m always very honoured when people tell me they like reading C&T. This week I received a lovely comment from fellow blogger Carol about another nomination. Although all these award nominations tend to be very similar in nature, they are still a serious acknowledgement from the people doing the same things you do: running a blog and trying their best to create good content for the readers. I have been nominated quite a few times before but I don’t spend as much time as I would like to write something up for these types of things, mostly because I am usually too busy during the day. I have done just one before this, which connected me to amazing bloggers. It’s a great way to interact with people with the same interests.

The Rules:

  • Link back to the person who nominated you;
  • Tell the story of how you started out as a blogger;
  • Give any advice you can spare to new bloggers;
  • Nominate 15 of your favourite blogs for the award.

A couple of months ago I wrote a long post about how I started out and I also offered quite a few pointers on what new bloggers should expect once they begin this journey. I don’t want to sound repetitive so I am including the link for you in case you want to give it a read. What I write there all comes from my experience. As with all things in life, blogging has its highs and lows, and it is a commitment. But it can be very rewarding in more ways than one and the results will come, after some years of perseverance. The important thing is to never give up.

More than just nominations, the following is a list of blogs which I enjoy browsing through regularly. The list remains the same from the one in my Creative Blogger Award, simply because these are some of my very favourites. Some are relatively new and others are literally masters. Some I consider as friends. What makes them so special to me is the fact that I continuously learn from them.

If you are interested to know more about the other blogs I like to follow, you can find more in my links and resources page.
