Ice cream from Borough Market

Ice cream from Trebis in Borough Market (9524)

I can’t believe it’s been more than a week since I posted something on C&T. I rarely miss my post-one-a-week target without telling you about it first. In the past I used to feel guilty – don’t know exactly why – but I tend to be a little picky about this blog. It is my baby. I’m sure you know what I mean.

Having said that, many people ask me how I managed to maintain this blog for almost four years now, and my answer is always the same: as in everything in life, you must love whatever you do. If you are one of the few lucky ones and love your job, then all well and good. But if you don’t, then find a hobby in anything you love and keep at it. It may be some kind of sports, photography, crafts, art, writing, books, stamps…anything. But keep at it. I will try to write a blog post about this someday. Keep the questions coming!

I’m posting a couple of casual photos today. They are quite similar but I like them both. I took them while still in the UK, although I think we already knew about the move to Malta by that time. What I remember is that I had a great time with J and J2 on that day in London, and though still in scarves and jackets we all decided we wanted ice cream. J did some investigating and wanted to take us to 3 Bis, a little charming ice cream parlour in Borough Market. It was literally overflowing with people and there was little seating available inside the shop. We didn’t care and it was well worth the wait. If it was brimming with customers then, I can just imagine it during the summer months.

I took a few snaps while waiting, as I usually do and then it was ice cream time. I would devour some right now. It’s 23ºC here. That’s December in Malta for you folks!
